Israel's security cabinet has rescheduled it's meeting to 9 a.m. this morning to discuss the escalation in the south, Ynet reports.
Originally, the security cabinet was scheduled to meet this afternoon to discuss the situation around the Gaza border, but the continuing escalation around Gaza, with hundreds of rockets fired from the Strip overnight led officials to move the meeting earlier.

Israel's skies have been alight all night with Hamas launching hundreds of rockets towards Israeli territory, registering hits in Ashkelon, Sderot and other border communities. Most rockets landed in open fields, while some were intercepted by the Iron Dome.
